2022年から約1年間アーティストの久松知子さんはNYに滞在されました。日本美術の歴史や制度を参照に制作する久松さんが、異文化の中で何と出会い、どのような発見、或いは変化があったのか、滞在中毎日描き日本に送り続けた絵はがきのことを切り口に、彼女が学び活動した山形にてお話を伺います。是非ご参加ください。

Tomoko Hisamatsu is an artist whose work focuses on the history and institutions of Japanese art. She has recently been a resident artist in New York for the past year. In this event, she will discuss her postcard project which she drew daily and sent postcards to Japan during her stay in New York. We will ask her what she encountered, what she discovered, and how the experience in a new culture help the evolution of her artistic expression. This event will take place in Yamagata, where she studied and worked during her student days. Please join us.
