長年、制作のベースとしてきた山形、2022年9月から１年間滞在したニューヨーク、そしてギャラリーのあるお茶の水、作家にとってゆかりの深い３つの土地をキーワードに、市井の人びとの生活とコミュニティ、食など、身近なモチーフを描いたドローイングとペインティングの新作を展示します。合計325枚のドローイングで構成された「Everyday Postcards from NY to Tokyo」の画集の販売も開始する予定です。

Trine Gallery is pleased to announce a solo exhibition by Tomoko Hisamatsu. The exhibition will feature new drawings and paintings based on familiar motifs such as everyday life, community, and food, inspired by three significant locations deeply connected to the artist: Yamagata, where she has been based for many years; New York, where she stayed for a year starting in September 2022; and Ochanomizu, where the gallery is located. We will also mark the start of sales for the art book Everyday Postcards from NY to Tokyo, which showcases her 325-postcards drawing project.
